Storms Leave Thousands Without Power In North Central Ohio

Strong thunderstorms and straight line winds left thousands of people without power in North Central Ohio early Tuesday morning, according to reports from several area power companies.

Ohio Edison is reporting Richland County with more than 19,000 people without power ( as of 7:30 am) and AEP shows nearly 7,000 in the dark.

Ashland County is reporting more than 10,000 residences out of power with Ohio Edison. Watch out when traveling with tree limbs or branches across roadways in the area and as of now - there is no estimate on when the power will be restored.
