$120,000 has been set aside, by Ashland City Council, for body cameras for the Ashland Police Department.

Most of the money for the program is coming out of a Police 60 fund, which will buy 30 cameras for the PD.  Captain Craig Kiley has been working on the project for several months and said the equipment should arrive in the next 2 months and then, training will begin to show officers how to operate the cameras.
