Former Hillsdale Football Player, Now Firefighter In Mansfield

A former All-Ohio football player at Hillsdale high school has joined the Mansfield Fire Department.

RichlandSource.com reports, 21 year old Michael Garn, who also played college football at Marshall University, is following in his dad’s footsteps. Michael’s dad, Robert Garn, has spent more than 20 years with the Mansfield Fire Department, and pinned the badge on his son this week - during the swearing-in ceremony. The 6’5 Michael Garn said, he grew up loving his dad’s profession and was one of 5 new firefighters sworn-in this week.
