Ashland Plans To Install Arch - With Lights - Downtown Thursday

In Ashland, weather permitting, a giant Arch will be installed downtown over the intersection of Union Street and Main Street. Mayor Matt Miller said, it will have Edison lights - all across the arch -as you head into the historic downtown area. The cost for the arch is $120,000 and is made possible by a donation from a local couple. Simonson Construction is handling the work and lowering the arch into place. Once the couple drives through the arch for the first time on Thursday, then the mayor will reveal the names of the generous donors.
