Big news in Ashland, as Charles River Laboratories, who is the town’s biggest employer with more than 1,000 workers in Ashland, is expanding and adding more 500+ more jobs. Ashland mayor Matt Miller said the company plans to build a 200,000 square foot state of the art facility, next to their current building on the east side of town . Miller saying it’s the single largest business expansion project in Ashland County history. A ground breaking is expected to take place in the next few months.
