Protesters in Shelby recently held a march in support of abortion rights.

RichlandSource.com reports, the group held signs and walked up and down a portion of Main Street, along with holding a 30 second moment of silence for all women that have died from an unsafe abortion.

The local protest was one of several hundred across the country following the leaked document about the possible Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe vs Wade. Shelby Police Chief Lance Coombs said the group was approved for a permit to march, as officers were on hand for traffic control.
