The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office is underway with an investigation after an inmate had access to an illegal drug. Officers say they responded when they were alerted that two females were having seizures in the housing area and called EMS.
Three other inmates were transported to the hospital after 5 in total tested positive for the illegal drug. The incident remains under investigation.
