The Ashland YMCA has raised $4 million dollars and is set to begin an expansion project at its Miller Street facility later this month.

According to RichlandSource.com, the organization exceeded its fundraising goal of $3.6 million during the 5 month campaign with a big thanks to Bob and Jan Archer, who donated $2 million. The renovation plans, which will take about 18 months, will see a new gym and upgrades to the interior. The Ground breaking for the work is scheduled for May 25th.
