Mansfield Historical Group Wants To Save Westinghouse Entry Way

A group is underway with a plan to preserve a portion of the Westinghouse A building in downtown Mansfield.

RichlandSource.com reports, the hope is to save the brick entry way to the building on 5th street, which in its prime employed around 8,000 workers. Jennifer Kime is one of those working with the Richland County Historical Society on the project, which she said is in the early stages.

The building built in 1919 is set to be demolished over the course of the next year thanks to a grant from the state of Ohio.
