Mansfield City Council Approves $1.5 Million For NECIC Community Center

$1.5 million dollars in American Rescue Plan funds has been approved by Mansfield City Council to go towards helping build the new North End Community Improvement Collaborative Community Center.

According to RichlandSource.com, Council in total approved $9 million dollars in ARPA funds Wednesday, as part of Mayor Tim Theakers plan. Other projects planned will be to repair and renovate the foundation of the Municipal building, along with repairs to the Clear Fork dam, retention bonuses for the police department and vehicle replacement for the Fire Department.
