In Richland County, republican Cliff Mears defeat challenger David Morgenstern for county commissioner with Mears earning 62% of the vote. The Mansfield Parks Levy for capital improvements to build a new pool was voted down with 55% saying no at the polls.

- David Stimpert was the winner for Ashland County Common Pleas County judge garnering 65% of the vote.
- The Republican Primary for Ashland County Commissioner went to the incumbent, Denny Bittle, as he received better than 58% of the votes.
- The Loudonville Public Library renewal for current expenses passed with 73% saying yes.
- The Mapleton school district additional tax levy did not pass, as over 66% voted it down.
