A new downtown Mansfield improvement grant program was approved by City Council this week.
RichlandSource.com reports, “The Downtown Vertical Improvement Program” will offer $30,000 in grant funding per year. Jennifer Kime, CEO of Downtown Mansfield Inc, said some spaces downtown are being used because of the cost to bring them up to code. The program has been approved for 2 years, Kime hopes it will be a success and be able to add more funding to keep it going.
