The Richland County Commissioners have given the go ahead to seek bids for a roof project, which has a price tag of a quarter of a million dollars.
RichlandSource.com reports, roof work is needed on the county building on Park Ave and the county juvenile court, both of which have had issues with leaks. The county plans to buy materials for the project from the Garland company with state contracted pricing. The new materials should last 40 to 50 years, if properly maintained.
The hope is to see the work be finished by this summer.
