Lexington High School has named a new head football coach.
Andrew Saris was approved by the school board this week to take over the program and will become dean of students at Lexington high school next year.
RichlandSource.com reports, the 34 year old Saris played high school football at Smithville in Wayne County, he is currently the track coach and a Science teacher at Madison. Saris spent several years as an assistant football coach at Madison and said he was born and raised on small school football.
