Clear Fork Preserve Project To Protect The Wetlands, Streams

A project in the western part of Richland County hopes to acquire and restore 213 acres of vacant land.

RichlandSource.com reports, the idea is to protect the wetlands and streams – County Parks Director Jason Larson in a letter earlier this month said the Clear Fork Preserve Project will have many benefits including reduction of sediments and nutrients that flow into the Clear Fork Reservoir, which is the primary source for Mansfield’s drinking water supply.
