Mansfield Engineer Bob Bianchi is still working toward the project to bring more free parking to downtown Mansfield.
Mansfield City Council President David Falquette said Bianchi recently gave a report to council, which says a deal with the English First Lutheran Church, which will allow the city to lease the land for 10 years – at a dollar per year.
This will create 29 parking spaces on Park Ave West near the Imagination District downtown. Mansfield will handle the paving work and install some greenery. Cost is $150,000 dollars with the work expected to be done this summer
