Commissioners Approve $500,000 for Shelby Black Fork Commons Plaza Project

In Shelby, officials recently got some good news after the Richland County Commissioners approved $500,000 to be used for the Black Fork Commons Plaza Project.

RichlandSource.com reports, the Commissioners will use American Rescue Plan funds to help the project, which is part of a 3 part plan to attract visitors and residents to downtown Shelby.

Mayor Steve Schag saying this will have an impact for years and years to come.
