Ashland 2022 Budget $76 Million, Income Tax Revenue Up Significantly

In Ashland, this year’s budget is just over $76 Million Dollars according to Mayor Matt Miller.

Council passed their budget ahead of schedule back in February. Miller saying Ashland’s income tax is the primary revenue source for the local government and sales tax and property tax are also key indicators

Last year, Ashland’s income tax collections increased by $1 million. Miller said in a good year over the last decade it may have went up 200,000 or 300,000 dollars. This means Ashland can invest in more improvements locally because of the terrific financial report.
