Ontario Schools Superintendent To Retire This Summer

Ontario’s Superintendent is set to retire this summer, after 35 years in Education.

According to RichlandSource.com, Lisa Carmichael is set to step away at the end of June.  Carmichael, who has been Ontario’s Superintendent since 2011, is from the Steubenville area in Jefferson County and is a graduate of the University of Dayton.

Ontario District treasurer Randy Harvey calling Carmichael “Top Notch” and one of the best superintendents he has worked with over the years.

Current, Ontario middle school Principal Keith Strickler is set to becomes the district’s next Superintendent later this summer.
