Mansfield City Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday and one of the items on the agenda is the contract with the police union. RichlandSource.com reports, the new contract would run from August 1st of this year through July of 2025. Up for discussion will be salaries, rates of pay for officers, the chief and assistant chief.
Council will also vote on purchasing 3 new SUV’s for the police department.
