Mansfield in the coming days is expected to ask ODOT – The Ohio Department of Transportation – to plow snow on US 30 within the city limits.

According to RichlandSource.com, this would allow Mansfield crews to plow snow on residential streets quicker. Public Workers director David Remy also suggested Mansfield purchase 4 or 5 additional snow plows. Mansfield officials expect to meet with ODOT soon, while the cost of a new snow plow truck, depending on the size, is between $145,000 - $190,000. This comes after multiple complaints from residents following significant snowfall over the past month.
