In Ashland County, things are moving along for the project to build a new dog shelter, as the County Commissioners have agreed to a contract with Simonson Construction.
According to RichlandSource.com, this will now allow for the Commissioners to discuss prices for the 8,000 square foot facility, which will be located on Baney Road.
The total cost of the project is around $1.5 million dollars. Simonson will be paid for their construction plan that may include clinic and grooming salon.
