The Mansfield City Schools have released their 5 year strategic plan.

According to RichlandSource.com, Superintendent Stan Jefferson said this will guide the district for the next 3 to 5 years.  Four parts of the plan include goals, commitments, strategies and action steps. The ultimate goal Jefferson said is to construct new 21st century learning facilities for the school district.

The board of education meets next Tuesday and is scheduled to vote on closing the Brinkerhoff building, which would see the district move from 9 buildings to 8 next year.
