Lexington Village Council Does Not Give Approval For New Gas Station

In Lexington, a proposal to build a new gas station did not get approval from village council. According to RichlandSource.com, Lexington village planning commission voted and approved the request in late January from Englefield Oil to build a new gas station and service center on East Main Street.

Mayor Brian White said this is a first and he doesn’t know what happens next. Lexington’s Law Director saying the company could appeal the decision or consider legal action.
