Mansfield thanks to a grant is getting some technology to help the police keep neighborhoods safer.
Automated license plate readers will be installed in various locations around town in higher traveled areas that will run plates against a data base to know when a criminal is entering the city. The grant is $22,000 and comes from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services.
