Deputies have arrested 28 year old Danial L Shahan of Howard, as part of an investigation into the death of a 22 month old child. During the evening of January 31, 2022 the child was brought to Knox Community Hospital by her mother and grandmother. The child was later transferred to a Columbus Hospital. Detectives were notified Thursday afternoon of the child’s death. Shahan is currently being held in the Knox County Jail. The case remains under investigation.
