A winter storm moving in late Wednesday is expected to see the North Central Ohio area receive anywhere from 7 to 12 inches of snow by early Friday morning.
ODOT – The Ohio Department of Transportation says in District 3, which represents North Central Ohio, there will be 22 trucks out plowing in Ashland County, 18 in Richland and 13 in Crawford County. The operate in 12 hour shifts and says they have plenty of salt and brine in all 3 counties to treat the roadways. ODOT, who is in charge of treating and plowing State Routes and Interstates, is encouraging motorists to stay home if you don’t need to go out, but if you must travel be prepared and allow for extra travel time.
