Mansfield, Ashland, Richland County Trucks Ready To Battle Winter Storm

A Winter Storm warning in effect until tomorrow morning with heavy snow forecasted for the remainder of today and tonight.  The Mansfield area expected to receive between 7 and 12 inches according to the National Weather Service.  Heavy snow and blowing snow could make traveling difficult this afternoon and into the evening at times with around an inch falling per hour.

The city of Mansfield says they will have around 12 trucks plowing in 12 hour shifts.

Richland County Engineer Adam Gove says 11 trucks but could go as high as 17 if needed and they can up to 16 hour shifts in needed. The city of Ashland has around 15 trucks to clean the streets.

Both, Mansfield and Richland County are prepared with plenty of Salt on hand for the storm.
