State Controlling Board Approves Funds For Workforce Training At NCSC

COLUMBUS - The state controlling board has approved the release of $183,771 to North Central Technical College to purchase sole source equipment from Buckeye Educational Systems for Workforce Based Training Equipment RAPIDS program in Mansfield, Ohio

 

This funding will help to prepare graduating individuals for success. As a result of these investments industry partners will be better suited to hire locally trained high-level talent.

 

“We must continue to invest in our future generation and this funding will ensure our students are properly trained and educated before joining the workforce,” said John.

State Representative Marilyn John is currently serving her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 2nd Ohio House District, which encompasses all of Richland County.
