Masks are now optional in the Ontario schools. The district posting the information on their website that their masking policy is now optional for students and staff beginning February 1st.
Ontario schools required masks for all students and staff back on January 3rd due to a rising in COVID-19 cases following the holidays. Good news cases in Richland County have dropped more than 40% in the last week, according to the CDC with just over 850 new cases reported in the last week.
