Madison School District Treasurer Retiring

The Madison School District is starting its search for a new treasurer.

This comes as current district treasurer Robin Klenk will retire after 19 years in the role. Her last Day is scheduled for July 31st, according to Superintendent Rob Peterson.

The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center is helping the district find an experienced financial leader. Applications for the job must be received by February 18th.

Madison Local School District Announces Treasurer Opening

Mansfield, OH (January 28, 2022) – The Madison Local School District, located in Richland County, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Treasurer to succeed Mrs. Robin Klenk who has served as the Treasurer for over nineteen years. The Board, with the assistance of Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, is seeking an experienced leader with a strong financial background for the position of Treasurer.

Madison Local Schools is financially solvent, maintains a balanced budget, and has a talented, highly skilled staff. Known for its strong traditions, the district provides a focal point of pride for the community, providing opportunities for all students to reach their fullest potential intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. The district continually strives to develop curriculum and opportunities in early-childhood, K-12 education, career-technical, and adult career that effectively meet the needs of traditional students and adult learners.

Qualified applicants should have a strong sense of integrity, be self-directed, possess strong financial analysis skills, be detail-oriented and a strong communicator. The Board of Education will offer a multi-year contract with salary and benefits that is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
