Mansfield School Board To Vote On Moving From 9 Buildings To 8 In February

The Mansfield School Board next month will vote to move from 9 school buildings down to 8.

According to RichlandSource.com, the plan would be to close the Brinkerhoff building and move the Spanish Immersion students into Woodland Elementary and the 7th and 8th grade students into an open wing at the Mansfield Middle School.

The School board plans to vote on February 15th and if approved would see the changes at the beginning of next school year. Superintendent Stan Jefferson saying the reason due to the age of the Brinkerhoff building and cost of updates.
