Bids to repave just over 26 miles of Mansfield Streets this year have come in below the estimated cost.

RichlandSource.com reports, Mansfield Engineer Bob Bianchi’s rough estimate was $5.3 million dollars for the work.  One bid came in at just over $4.8 million, while the 2nd was just over $4.9 million dollars. The average life span of streets depends on a couple of factors, but ranges between 9 and 11 years.
