Ontario Police have been trading minor traffic violations for toys.

Police Chief Tom Hill said the program gave drivers the option of a waiver to buy a new toy for a child this holiday instead of receiving the ticket over the last few weeks. The program last year saw around 90 toys donated and this year's totals are being tallied up and will be announced soon. This year marked the 7th year for the program.
