Mansfield City Council will vote later this month to place a tax levy on the May ballot for a new public pool.

Council President David Falquette said they need to submit it soon to the board of elections to be able to appear on the spring ballot. A 0.25% levy is what is being discussed to replace the pool at Liberty Pool, which has had to close early the last few years because of mechanical issues. A vote is expected on December 21st.
