The Mansfield City Schools are receiving nearly $2 million in grant money to help prepare their students for college.
According to RichlandSource.com, Mansfield is one of 6 districts across the state to receive $1.8 million through the US Department of Education through its GEAR UP program. The funding will help prepare students in grades 7 – 12 for postsecondary education.
