Mansfield City Council has voted to transfer the Ocie Hill Neighborhood Center to the Richland County Land Bank.

According to RichlandSource.com, the building was closed a year ago and nothing has been done since that time. The building, which is 100 years old, has been owned by the city since the late 1980’s.

The Land Bank will officially take over and accept the property at their next meeting on November 17th.

No plans have been announced whether the building will be demolished or renovated
