Richland County Commissioners Approve $2 Million For Broadband Internet

The Richland County Commissioners this week approved to spend up to $2 million dollars to expand broadband internet access to parts of the county that currently doesn’t have it.

RichlandSource.com reports, the money used for the project will come from the American Rescue Plan, which Richland County is set to receive just over $23 million dollars.

Money from the state of Ohio will also be a key factor in making the project happens.
