Patrol’s Trooper Beal promoted to Sergeant at the Ashland Post
On October 10, Trooper Brian J. Beal was promoted to the rank of sergeant by Colonel Richard S. Fambro, Patrol superintendent. Sergeant Beal will transfer from his current assignment in the Cleveland District Criminal Investigations Unit to serve as an assistant post commander at the Ashland Post.
Sergeant Beal began his Patrol career in September 2002 as a member of the 140thAcademy Class. He earned his commission in February of the following year and was assigned to the Toledo Post. In 2009, he was selected as Post Trooper of the Year. He received the Superintendent Award of Excellence three times. As a trooper, he also served at the Medina Post.
Sergeant Beal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from Baldwin Wallace University in 2002.

Patrol’s Sergeant Bishop promoted to Lieutenant at the Ashland Post
On October 10, Sergeant Bradley R. Bishop was promoted to the rank of lieutenant by Colonel Richard S. Fambro, Patrol superintendent. Lieutenant Bishop will remain in his current assignment at the Ashland Post to serve as post commander.
Lieutenant Bishop began his Patrol career in October 1998 as a member of the 132ndAcademy Class. He earned his commission in April of the following year and was assigned to the Ashland Post. In 2016, he earned the Criminal Patrol Award. In 2010, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant and transferred to the Norwalk Post to serve as an assistant post commander. As a sergeant, he also served at the Wooster Post.
Lieutenant Bishop earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in criminal justice from North Central State College in 2021.
