Nov 2nd Election – Shelby Voters To See 3 Property Tax Renewals On Ballot

The November 2ndGeneral Election is just 2 weeks away.

Voters in Shelby will see 3 property tax levies on the ballot and they are all renewals.

According to RichlandSource.com, The Shelby Health Department has a .9 mill 5 year levy, the parks department has a .5 mill, 5 year levy and the Shelby Schools have a 3 mill, 5 year levy. 

The health department levy brings in $103,000 a year, Parks Levy just over $60,000 annually and the School levy $950,000 yearly for the day to day operations of the school district.
