Madison Local Education Association Asking For New Contract

Day.

The Madison Local Education Association this week held a meeting in the hopes to land a new contract.

RichlandSource.com reports, the organization, which represents 265 educators, has been without a new deal since July and the Madison School Board declared an impasse in negotiations in late September. A federal mediator was brought in to help, but still no deal has been reached.

Some members plan to attend the next school board meeting on Oct. 27th.
