Lexington Schools will stay with masks.
According to RichlandSource.com, the board of education decided to keep its masking policy in place for staff and students. The vote was 2 for and 2 against, with one member out sick.
Superintendent Jeremy Secrist said cases among staff and students have went down since the mask policy went into effect nearly a month ago on Sept. 20th. The board will not meet again until November 17th, where the issue will likely be discussed again.
