Next month, Mansfield City Council will vote to transfer the Ocie Hill Neighborhood Center to the Richland County Land Bank.

According to RichlandSource.com, the building was closed a year ago and nothing has been done since that time. The building, which is 100 years old, has been owned by the city since the late 1980’s.

Council will vote on November 3rd, which could then see a new use for it or be demolished.

NECIC executive Director Deanna West-Torrance said they are interested in the future of the property.
