Mansfield City Council this week voted to postpone its vote until next month on a requested rezone of two parcels of land on Orange Street. According to RichlandSource.com, the delay is because 6 residents opposed the rezone from residential to industrial. The land at one time had a bar and grill on the property, which is now owned by the Land Bank. Council will now vote on the matter November 3rd.
