A roundabout is coming to Ashland.
Mayor Matt Miller said work will begin next summer for the project, which will be located in the area near the Industrial park entrance and near US 250. Miller said the intersection in that area has proved to be dangerous with trucks and a high volume of traffic coming together. The roundabout will be larger than normal to accommodate tractor trailers.
The cost of the work is $1.7 million dollars and will be completely paid for by state grants.
