The Ashland Police department swore-in a new officer this week.
Mayor Matt Miller handled the honor of welcoming in Connor Black, who will now begin field training. Connor Black is 24 year old and is a native of Ashland County from the village of Polk.
This now gives the Ashland PD a staff of 30 officers.
