Ohio Hospital CEOs, Presidents Concerned Over COVID Surge, Urge Vaccination

20 Presidents and CEOs from Health Organizations in Ohio recently sent out a joint letter that they are seeing a high number of patients right now and the rising number of people from COVID-19,who have a higher degree of illness.

Officials say models are showing the number is expected to grow and they are facing a shortage of beds and longer wait times than normal for emergency and urgent care. Officials encouraging the public to get vaccinated, wear a mask and avoid large crowds.

OhioHealth and UH Samaritan Presidents were among those asking for the public’s help.
