The Mansfield School Board of Education has reached an agreement with the Mansfield School Employees Association.
According to RichlandSource.com, the deal is for 10 days of paid COVID leave - if a teacher or staff member tests positive or if someone exposed to the virus can't work from home.
School Association President Brad Strong said the quarantine paid leave is only for school related exposure to the virus. As of earlier this week, 20 staff members and 175 students in the district have tested positive for COVID-19.
