Two Richland County schools are ranked in the first state poll of the year, which was released this week.
The Crestview Cougars (4-0) are 6th in Division 6 under 3rd year head coach Steve Haverdill. Crestview is averaging more than 40 points and allow just 16 points per game.
The Lucas Cubs (4-0) are ranked 4th in Division VII under 12th year head coach Scott Spitler and just have been a powerhouse over the last decade. The Cubs starting defense has allowed only 3 TDs all year.
