Jackson Township – Troopers are investigating a serious injury crash that occurred on County Road 620 near Township Road 580. The crash occurred at approximately 5:07 PM on September 8th, 2021.
A 2017 Ford F-150, driven by Dennis Hollis, 52, Wadsworth, OH, was eastbound on County Road 620. A 2013 Mercedes Sprinter Van, driven by Graeme Clark, 39, West Salem, OH, was westbound on Country Road 620. Hollis drove left of center, striking Clark. Both vehicles came to final rest on the north side of the roadway. There were no additional occupants in either vehicle.
Both occupants were transported to Wooster Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Hollis and Clark were both wearing their safety belts at the time of the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Town & County Fire/EMS, Polk EMS, Bauer’s Towing and White’s Automotive. Alcohol is considered to be a factor in this crash. This crash remains under investigation.
